Oh no.....it shrunk! Have you ever accidently dried a Cotton shirt? I quite often miss something when transferring clothes from the washer to the dryer! Luckily for me, when my clothing shrinks, it usually ends up fitting me better. My shirts that have shrunk don't fall off my shoulders quite so much! Small shoulders is truly a struggle!
For my husband, however, it is not a good thing to shrink his shirts. Unfortunately, one of his shirts was shrunk this past week and I remembered seeing something on Pinterest about how to remedy the problem. So I wanted to find it and try it out and see if it actually works on cotton shirts.
And it did, it WORKS! I was so surprised and I'm happy I figured it out, because there's a very good chance it could happen again.
It's super simple to fix. All you need is conditioner, a sink or tub, and 2 towels. See below, thank you Pinterest!
Fill the sink with water
Add a 1/2 cup of conditioner, mix it in until it's bubbly. It's okay if there's a few bits of conditioner left in it.
lay the shirt over the top of the water then submerge it
Let the shirt soak for 15 minutes
Lay shirt over top of one towel and lay another towel over it, so the shirt is sandwiched in between.
Roll the towels up so it soaks most of the water from the shirt and makes it so it's just damp
And voilà you're done!
