Cancun Family Vacay
For Christmas, we were lucky enough to get a vacation package from my parents at Krystal Resort which is an all inclusive resort in Cancun. We went as a family over Spring break April 1-6, including my mom, dad, my brother and his friend, and Zach and I. It was a beautiful resort! We were able to go on quite a few tours and see a lot in the short time we were there!
We arrived in Cancun about 3 pm and immediately put on our swimsuits and went to relax on the beach, we were so excited to get out of the cold snow in Utah! We played in the ocean until the sun set.
Beautiful Cabanas to relax while on the white sandy beach! What a beautiful view!
This was the Perfect little sundress to throw on after a day at the beach with wet hair and sunkissed skin! And what a lucky girl I am, to have such a good lookin' date!
There were several nice restaurants we could choose from while at the resort as long as you made reservations ahead of time. The first night we had dinner at Las Velas which had yummy Italian food!

Later that evening we went downtown to find some ice cream or Gelato for Zach. Who doesn't LOVE Gelato?!?

2nd Day was a tour to Tulum and Coba
In Tulum we saw Iguanas at every turn. We rode bikes from site to site and read history about each of the ruins. We got to climb up the temple ruins, which we were told will be closing soon for tourists to actually climb. You will want to go visit soon or you may miss out! You feel like you are on top of the world, and the view from the top is amazing!
That evening for dinner, we ate at the Mexican restaurant at the resort called Hacienda el Mortero. It's amazing! I ordered the shrimp soup bowl that was delicious and it was served in a coconut! They also had a mariachi band playing the whole evening while we ate! It was a fun, festive atmosphere all around!
April 3rd was a day of fun in the sun for us! We spent the day on a Catamaran. We went snorkeling, and got to use our new full face mask snorkel gear. We were able to hold a cat shark, which was really cool, and we of course got really sun burned! Our destination was Isla Mujeres where we were told the coconut ice cream was the BEST! It was so tastey and exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend it!
Zach found his dream vacation home on our way back to the resort....GOALS!

Our last full day in Cancun we went to the Xenotes and it was by far the best! I loved it, it was a fun adventurous day in the sun, and I would definitely do it again! We ziplined, kayaked, snorkeled, did some cliff jumping, and swam in the xenotes. Out of the three tours we did, we definitely saved the best for the last day! We scheduled all of our excursions through All In One Cancun Tours- Jessica Aguirre was amazing to work with! I have her contact information if you would like it.
That night we went back to the Mexican restaurant, Hacienda el Mortero since it was by far our favorite!
Typically our lunches were included with our daily excursions, but most mornings we ate breakfast at the resort before leaving, They had a nice breakfast buffet,it was great!
The morning of our last day before heading to the airport, we had our family pictures taken. My brother's friend was nice enough to be the photographer!
My tall, dark, and handsome husband ....the love of my life!
One more full day at the beach on the last day would've been the perfect way to end our trip! But overall, we had a great time! The resort was wonderful, beach was beautiful, and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend The Krystal Resort Cancun and all of the excursions we did! I hope you enjoy scrolling through our photos and learning about our travels! Feel free to comment or ask questions.
